What is American Bid Services?
American Bid Services is an On-line dissemination service of Federal, State and Local Government issued Bid Solicitations Related to the printing industry. We offer a competitive advantage to government contractors who bid GPO issued RFQs not only by providing access to previously awarded solicitations and specs, but also by allowing the user to fully control what solicitations they see according to their specific requirements and production capabilities.

How does American Bid Services work?
For a flat monthly fee, companies like yourself gain access to a database, which is updated constantly throughout the day as new bid solicitations are issued by the GPO and other government agencies.

Why should I use American Bid Services?
There are various options available gain access to the same information we offer through our service:

  • All Federal, State and Local agencies have websites on which they publish some solicitations - however no agency posts all solicitations. The posts are usually very limited.

  • There are other services, similar to American Bid Services that offer similar distribution services along with other services not offered by us. However, look at the fine print. You could get hit with a 2 - 2.5% quarterly fee based on the volume of work you produced for the GPO above
    your monthly service charge. We offer a Flat-Fee Pricing system, with no hidden costs and absolutely "NO VOLUME FEE."

Does American Bid Services offer package pick-up services?
Yes! We pick-up government furnished materials from the Central and Rapid Response offices daily.

Does American Bid Services offer limitation on the service to help reduce service cost and see only those solicitations I want to see from specific offices?
Yes! Our service is available in 3 forms:
  • $450 - Bids from the Central and Rapid Response offices only
  • $450 - Bids from all other regional offices (19 offices other than CEN and RRC)
  • $695 - Nationwide Service
While we do not offer limitations on the Product Types, our website offers you sorting and filtering capabilities through which finding your specific Product Types will be as simple as possible.

Who is JDM Industries and what do they do?
JDM Industries. is the parent company of American Bid Services and they provide website management, design and programming.

Does American Bid Services offer a free trial period?
For new subscribers after March 31, 2003, you can purchase our services and have 7 days to test. If you are not satisfied with our services you can cancel for a refund.
