    These types of solicitations are under $100,000 in value with a bid open time of a few hours after GPO issuance.

  • Regular Informal Solicitations
    These types of solicitations are under $100,000 in value with a bid open time of one or more days after GPO issuance.

  • Formal Bid Solicitations
    These types of solicitations are usually over $100,000 in value with a bid open time any time after GPO issuance. This type of solicitation requires a formal written response.

  • Single Award Program
    This type of solicitation is in the form of a contract that is awarded to a single vendor. The value of individual contracts vary depending on job requirements. These contracts are usually issued in 1 year terms with possible extensions.

  • Multiple Award Programs
    This type of solicitation is in the form of a contract that is awarded to a group of qualified vendors that will share in the production of the work requirements. The value of individual contracts vary depending on job requirements. These contracts are usually issued in 1 year terms with possible extensions.

  • Simplified Purchase Agreements
    This type of solicitation is for the purpose of selecting a group of qualified vendors that will work directly with an individual Government agency or group of agencies. Under this type of contract an agency can award a job under $1000 to any vendor without bidding and up to $2,500 with 3 bids. Agencies are prohibited from placing jobs valued over $2,500 under this contract.

  • Amendments
    This is the GPO formal notification that a correction or change has been made to a previously issued solicitation that has not yet opened. In most cases amendments must be acknowledged in writing with your bid.
